য়োশিযর পদস্থ আধিকারিকরা রথে করে তাঁর মৃতদেহ মগিদ্দো থেকে জেরুশালেমে নিয়ে এসে তাঁকে তাঁর পরিবারের সমাধিস্থলে সমাধি দিলেন|এরপর লোকরা য়োশিযর পুত্র যিহোয়াহসকে নতুন রাজা হিসেবে অভিষেক করলেন|
